The Honeymoon Bay Fire Rescue starts the day with a Pancake Breakfast at 7:30 a.m. at the Fire Hall and then the parade at 11:00 a.m.
Live music starts at the Hall at 11:15 a.m. and continues until 2:30 pm. There are all-day activities for children and families – a “Best Decorated Bike Contest”, “Best Dressed Pet Contest”, kid’s games, crafts, activities, cake walks, indoor roller skating (with music), and then a family movie at 3:00 p.m. The concession will also open at 11:15 a.m.
Bay Day is sponsored by a partnership with the Honeymoon Bay Community Society, Honeymoon Bay Fire Rescue, Cowichan Lake Recreation/CVRD, Cowichan Lake District Chamber of Commerce and Island Savings Credit Union.
