The Cowichan Lake District Chamber of Commerce /Country Grocer Lake Cowichan are excited to welcome your participation in the 2026 Christmas Parade! The theme for the parade is
” Jingle All the Way” So decorate with all the holiday cheer possible, music, bells, whistles, lights and glitter. The parade will start promptly at 5:00 pm on Sunday November 29th, and will move through the main street in town, going across the car bridge heading to the Country Grocer Parking lot area. The brighter the lighting on each entry, the better! Parade entry deadline is Monday November 23rd, 26. Important Information
Parade Date : Sunday, November 29th, 2026
Jingle All the Way is the Theme this year
Parade marshaling starts at 4:00pm on Point Ideal Road. Parade starts promptly at 5:00pm
All paraders are to proceed down South Shore Rd through town, go over the car bridge,
then roundabout onto Cowichan Lake Rd. All foot paraders will then turn into Country
Grocer, while all motorized paraders will continue past Country Grocer then turn left onto
MacDonald – paraders can now park and walk to Country Grocer, or disperse. Santa Float
will turn in left into the MidIsland Co-op gas station to turn around and come back out
onto Cowichan Lake Rd and then turn onto Darnel go into the Country Grocer parking lot.
Come and enjoy the sounds of carollors, the market vendors, & refreshments while the
children visit with Santa
